"When I came I had already studied a little Italian, but was embarrassed by my accent and all my mistakes. I couldn't understand the grammar. From the first day, however, everyone at Villa Dante was so friendly and encouraging. Further, I really think it is important to study in a small town. I made friends with the local people quickly and am getting as much from that as I am from the teachers. I owe special thanks to Alessia and Antonio [teachers] for keeping it fun and interesting while challenging me in a new way everyday for 4 weeks!! Grazie a tutti!!"
