I've just returned from my fourth year at Villa Dante. I first chose this school for a language study vacation because of the great location, small class sizes and flexibility offered. The first year I had no Italian language skills and wanted an intensive two week course. The director, Francesco Compagnino, arranged a program of group and individual lessons totalling 6 hours daily. Thanks to the excellent teaching, by the time the vacation was over I could carry on conversations with my new local friends. I returned to London with a good foundation and was placed in an evening class with students who had been studying for a year. I have studied elsewhere, but always return to Villa Dante -- both for the classes and to see my friends in Tropea. Grazie a tutti. Nell |
