I studied at the Villa Dante - Studio Italiano for two weeks during June/July 2010. Tropea is a charming town set on the sea with many shops, cafes and restaurants. The people of Tropea are very warm, welcoming and friendly. The school provided me with an apartment in a great location, just a short walk from the sea, the school and the main piazza.
Antonella, my teacher at the school, quickly assessed my proficiency level and structured my lessons to meet my individual needs. She was very professional and accommodating to my needs as a student. Francesco, the Director of the school, was also very professional and made a sincere effort to insure that my stay in Tropea was a pleasant one. I truly feel that both Francesco and Antonella went above and beyond to make my experience at the school a great one.
Thanks to Antonella and the locals of Tropea, I really improved my skills in Italian. I highly recommend the Villa Dante - Studio Italiano for anyone at any proficiency level looking to study Italian. The location, the staff, and the locals made my trip a fantastic experience.
